'Silencer' Google Chrome Extension Prevents 'Spoilers, People and Hashtags' on Social Media

Breitbart - MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., April 15 (UPI) -- If you’ve been avoiding the Internet so you won’t find out what happened on Game of Thrones on Sunday, there’s no longer a reason to fear -- there’s an app for that. Or, to be more accurate, a Google Chrome extension. Thanks to the new “Silencer” extension, you can now stop spoilers from appearing in your Twitter and Facebook feeds by blocking keywords that you don’t want to see. Just type in a phrase and Silencer will block it. To make things even easier, the extension also offers “Mute Packs” for TV shows like Breaking Bad, Mad Men and Scandal.
